The balance and choice of equipment permit the manufacture of a wide variety of optical components from .5 mm to 660 mm in diameter.

Our processes feature a grinding house where shaping, generating, grinding, polishing, and edging operations are performed and where our various machines produce surface configurations true to 1/20th of a wave. Our in-house ability to “do it all"—designing fixtures, testing optical alignment, or developing proprietary assembly techniques– allows Pacific Coast Optics to react rapidly and effectively to the design and production demands of even the most difficult assemblies.
Our custom assembly experience includes a wide range of applications such as night vision systems, medical and laser surgical instruments, industrial lasers for marking, cutting and welding, optical information storage systems, imaging systems for satellites, cameras, telescopes, and microscopes, laser imaging systems, and laser range-finding and target designator systems for the military.
